Water Project Launched in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu-Natal

This past Monday, 31 August 2023, was a momentous day for Qhoqhoqho and Ezitobhini villages in Hluhluwe, KwaZulu Natal. We successfully launched a solar-powered borehole that will provide clean and drinkable water to around 6700 people.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of our amazing team and the support from our partners Innovation Africa and the local community, we were able to install 22 communal taps across the two villages, ensuring that clean water is readily available to everyone. But that’s not all!

As part of this transformative project, we are proud to announce that the local school and clinic will, for the first time, have water taps installed. This will significantly improve access to clean and safe drinking water for the students and patients, enhancing their overall well-being.

Access to clean water is not just a basic necessity; it’s a fundamental right that lays the foundation for building thriving and sustainable communities. When communities have access to clean water, they can focus on growth, education, and economic opportunities, creating a brighter future for everyone.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support and cooperation that made this initiative a reality. Let’s continue working together to ensure that every community has access to clean water, paving the way for a healthier, happier, and more sustainable world.
