Who we are

HCI Foundation is the corporate social investment arm of HCI, a black empowerment investment company that has its origins in the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union. Our primary concern is uplifting all people in South Africa so that all may share an improved quality of life. We aim to bring about change and make a sustainable impact in underdeveloped and underprivileged communities through interactive partnerships with other stakeholders.

Bursary Applications

HCI Foundation bursaries are primarily for our current bursary recipients who will be returning to university in 2024, and new applicants at Honours and Post-graduate Diploma level at the institutions listed below.

Community Engagement Applications

HCI Foundation (HCIF) Grant Programme supports non-profit organisations (NPOs) that work with South African communities to become self-reliant and sustainable.
